So in the past 3 days they've traded for a starting LB, signed a starting DT, and acquired a top tier WR.
Meanwhile, the Steelers lost Jessie James and Antonio Brown
The Ravens lost John Brown and Terrell Suggs
And we re-signed Preston Brown, Uzomah and Hart.

But they're still the Browns dude. And nothing will change that. Give it time, they will screw this up in the end.
If we didnt suck so bad last year they wouldnt have even sniffed the playoffs.

That's a lot of egos for a rookie HC. Also, who's ego will win out when Mayfield doesn't get the ball enough to all the other egos. Pass the popcorn.

Re: Browns trade for OBJ
you cannot look at their offensive roster and think it's same ol browns...while at the same time, look at our roster and signings and think anything but the same or worse record for the bungles
Re: Browns trade for OBJ
Think Bengals can get that much for Green? I would be tempted to make that trade. I just don't think at AJ age (remember he was old for draft class) he is going to make it 16 games any longer. I know offense struggles with out him but if not healthy same problem without draft picks and startIng d player.

i gotta be honest..... i think we are heading towards dark times in the AFC north.... where the skidz are on top looking down.
I too, am holding out hope that this all blows up in their face.... but i cant really see a good reason why that would happen.

Re: Browns trade for OBJ
They have a new head coach that very well not work out. They have a short qb that has a history of bad decisions. There are many qb's that had a good rookie season and never have another good season. And the biggest reason is they are the Browns so they will find new ways to lose.orange_black wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2019 11:09 am

I'm more on skycruiser's side of this issue. Had they just acquired OBJ, that would be easy enough to overlook... I mean the Giants went 5-11 with him last year. Add Karim Hunt, Sheldon Richardson and Olivier Vernon, and they have made some solid, and in some cases, substantial upgrades. I feel like the Steelers have an uncanny way of rolling with these things and always being in the hunt... but the Browns are looking to make a big leap.
