Although I've driven through countless times over the years, it's probably been almost 20 years since I got off the interstate and spent any time downtown, but here I am! My 10-year-old needed to come down for all-state children's choir, so I brought her and I'm working from my company's Cinci office instead of Cleveland. I want to say the last time I was here was to see a Bengals game in 2001? It was a forgettable shellacking by the Bears, in a season of forgettable shellackings.
I'm taking my daughter out for Skyline Chili after her concert so that she can understand Cincinnati culture.

Re: Exile in Cinci
One on our neighbors in Castaic was from Akron and came back from a vacation with a couple of cans of that stuff as a present for me.
Cinnamon in chili!?! What in God's name were you people thinking!?!
Re: Exile in Cinci
Dude, you just have to put it in a different category. It's not chili, don't compare it to chili. Chili also doesn't include spaghetti. The guy who started the place was Greek for god's sake, what did he know about chili? It's a Greek dish, call it Skyline Khili and enjoy it for its own sake.
