I’m okay with trading Geno and I’m okay with not trading Geno. The guy is a leader in the clubhouse. He isn’t complaining. If he’s okay with being a guy who isn’t used as much as he used to be he can still be an asset to this team.
+1

I agree. And because he's not being a pain in the ass and can still contribute the compensation is more important. I would not be okay with giving Geno away for what we got for Dunlap. I'd need more to pry him loose.

But if say, the Lions offered a 3rd rounder for him....

BENGALS TALK (@BengalsTalk)
“In the wake of the Dunlap trade, my understanding is that teams have called the #Bengals about veteran DT Geno Atkins and have been told he isn’t available.”
You got to at least ask what are you offering. He is not the future of the team.

Why does none of this surprise me? Possibly the worst first round pick in our history besides Oogie-Boogie.... :x

Jeremy Rauch (@FOX19Jeremy)
John Ross listed as doubtful with an "illness."

The #Bengals don't view him as a top 7 WR. At all. He doesn't say much. Doesn't show any confidence and has been left behind others in work ethic and preparation.

One source told me the staff isn't even sure he likes football.

From John Ross on Twitter

It’s not a secret that i have requested a trade. Trade me if this how y’all feel. I’m healthy and eager to play. I know I can be productive. It’s hard to love something when your not actually participating in it. Believe me, its not football that i don’t like

Your old age must be setting since you apparently have forgotten about some QB with the last name Smith. :o

He would have a lot more playing time and/or trade value if, you know, he didn’t suck at his job.

The #Bengals liked Corey Davis a lot and I’m pretty sure he was higher on their board than John Ross. He also didn’t get his 5th year option picked up, I wonder if they’ll look at him as a Free Agent this offseason, I know I would.

They are fine at WR. Use those dollars for OL, LB, DE and CB.
