Honestly, if he goes to Seattle and kills, I still put it on Dunlap. The guy basically quit on the team. If he went out there and kicked ass trying to give everything he had in the time he was out there I'd think differently. We may have some coaching issues, but I'm not sorry to see him go. Another former Bengal that I will remember fondly after they retire.

is it just me,... or maybe the internet... but it feels like the Bengals are doing a LOT more with regards to "Trying out players" in the Taylor regime than I can remember in the past....??
There are a lot of teams bringing in new players. I've just been focusing on the ones the Bengals have been talking with.

But yeah, we seem to be more active than usual....for us. ;)
Again, it FEELS like we are really doing more with the Taylor regime than we have in the past....

The Dunlap deal to the Seahawks is only the second in-season trade by the #Bengals since 1985. The other was Carson Palmer to the Raiders in 2012.

Carlos Dunlap leaves Cincinnati with 82.5 sacks.

Eddie Edwards is franchise leader with 83.5 sacks.

One. Sack. Short. #Bengals

Bengals acquisition B.J. Finney is a former Steelers center -- has played some guard -- who did a particularly nice job in pass protection there from 2015-19 in a little over 1,000 snaps.

A little on BJ Finney.

He's a Center drafted in 2015 by the Steelers.

He hasn't played at all this year for Seattle.

In 2019 he had a PFF score of 56.9 with a 72.0 in pass blocking and a less impressive 52.1 in run blocking.

Before that he has been pretty solid.

2016 - 301 snaps Overall 72.8. Pass Blocking 80.8 and Run Blocking 71.6

2017 - 234 snaps Overall 66.4 Pass Blocking 89.6 and Run Blocking 59.8

2018 - 165 snaps Overall 71.5 Pass Blocking 90.4 and Run Blocking 55.8

I'll take it.
