A.J. Green says hamstring feels 100 percent. Just a matter of keeping his wind throughout the game. Said he would probably have to periodically hop out and catch his breathe for a few plays if he gets tired then hop back in, if necessary.

#Bengals TE CJ Uzomah, who had been one of Joe Burrow’s most effective targets through two games, was carted off last night and the immediate fear is that he tore his Achilles, I’m told. He’ll have an MRI today, as the results were not conclusive. Would be a tough loss.

Cincinnati Bengals (@Bengals)
We’ve signed TE Mason Schreck from the practice squad, and placed TE C.J. Uzomah on the Reserve/Injured list.

Huge takeaway on 21 snaps of Empty Burrow was pressured ONCE.
Yes, the Bengals can protect Burrow in 5-man protection.

That's interesting, I wish I had a way to go back and review the game snap by snap. I really wanna see if that is true.

Or maybe he always threw the ball in under 2 sec. (quick slants or outs).

Yeah, I don't think the line magically protected better in those situations. I think the receivers spread out the field and Burrow identified a matchup he wanted or the guy who got open quickly. If those aren't almost all quick passes, I'd be surprised.

So I ended up spending some time at the rents this weekend and they had the game DVR'd, so I took about 30 minutes and broke the film down the best I could.

What I noticed when Burrow got into 5 WR's.

1) It forced the defense to only rush 4 and drop the rest, which did give our Oline an advantage which they gave him time.

2) every 5 wr set I saw Burrow made some kind of check at the line. Every single time he made some kind of adjustment and it seemed to work cause there was always a guy open. Whether they connected or not was a different story.

3) We did pretty well out of play action in game 1 but our play action sucked in game 2. Probably because we didn't have enough running game to threaten that action.

Those were just 3 things I noticed in a quick film study, didn't have a lot of time and I focused on the offense only.
