He can play. Just needs reps. I can easily see him replacing Higgins. I'd keep Chase, of course, do everything imaginable to keep Boyd, which I think who has been clearly over looked his whole career and so underrated and get some picks for Tee.

I'd love to keep Boyd if the price is right. But both Iosivas and Jones seem like they could grow into starting roles if it comes down to it. Limited sample size, but flashes from both thsoe guys.

The Bengals have placed running back Chase Brown on IR. He’s out for at least the next four games. Right when he was in line to get a bigger role, an untimely hamstring injury hits.

The Bengals now have an open roster spot if they’re looking to add a tight end or running back to the 53. Also, this spot could end up going to Charlie Jones as soon as next week when he’s eligible to return.

-Signed free agent LB Clay Johnston to the practice squad

S Tyson Anderson back to IR. He seems like the kinda player that will be on there yearly until he's finally cut.

#Bengals fill the role of Tycen Anderson (ACL) on special teams by promoting Stanley Morgan from the practice squad.

Morgan starred on teams the last two years and should provide some juice for that group in a big spot. Probably not long term answer, but big in short term.
