He's a former 6th round pick of the Cardinals out of Georgia where he played Center. He was released by them after last season and signed by the Bengals back in late July and released in August.
Now he's back.

In addition to Lamont Gaillard before signing him to the practice squad, the #Bengals also tried out center Michal Menet and guard Mike Horton today.

They didn't wanna "overpay" for olinemen, however, is it really overpaying for a player if two or three teams are willing to give him the same exact money??
