Nice. I'll wager he will see game action by game 5.

The Bengals signed the following 15 players to the practice squad:

All of the practice players noted above were with the Bengals during training camp. Cincinnati's practice squad currently is one spot shy of the 16-player limit.

The #Bengals suffer another significant injury on their defensive line. DE Khalid Kareem has been placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. That means he'll be out a minimum of three games.

The #Bengals suffer another significant injury on their defensive line. DE Khalid Kareem has been placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. That means he'll be out a minimum of three games.

It sucks, but significant seems kind of an overkill. The guy is third string on the depth chart and he's only on the three game injured list. Hopefully he'll be back fine, but this is hardly a killer.

Its not necessarily the severity always, it's the frequency. And this year the injury bug seems to have targeted our D-line specifically.

Bengals CB Trae Waynes (hamstring) won't play in Week 1 against the Vikings.

Waynes has yet to play a game for Cincinnati since striking a three-year, $42 million deal with the organization last offseason. Eli Apple, who was cut from both the Panthers and Raiders for conditioning reasons last year, will instead be on the field and assigned either Justin Jefferson or Adam Thielen in coverage. It's a disastrous development for a defensive unit that was already facing an uphill battle in talent discrepancy.
