Warford wants 7mil a year. Too steep for skinflint SoP....

What someone wants and what someone will actually get are probably 2 different numbers in this case.

If he were asking for "crazy" money I'd agree with you Meat. And if he were a marginal player asking for money beyond his talent level I'd agree with you.

But 7mil for a pro bowl caliber O-linman in an era where poor O-lines are the norm is not out of the question.

Maybe but it's late in the game and I haven't seen a lot of teams throwing interest his way.

Bobbie Hart and C.J. Uzomah are each getting 5.8 million. I would be willing to cut them both to sign him.

So who'd be your starting TE if you cut Uzomah?

I don't know where you're getting that. According to Ian Rappaport he's "drawing lots of interest." That's a direct quote from one of his tweets.

The Seahawks seem particularly interested but I've read their up against the cap. However, they could always release someone to free up the cap space to land him.

Either way, I don't see any signs he'll be a bargain...

Yeah, it's just a fact that there isn't an over-abundance of quality linemen out there. He'll get paid, and given the under-abundance of quality linemen on our own depth chart, I'd like to see us be the ones to pay him, improbable as that sounds on a team owned by Mike Brown.

Only reason I've stated what I've stated is because I haven't seen a lot of reports where teams have been interested, that's all.

Obviously don't need to cut him to sign him but I could get by with Sample and going with a lot of 4WR formations.

Burrow is taking it upon himself to organize 7 on 7 drills. 8-)
