The Bengals are being rumored to be linked to having interest in Kendall Fuller. I could get behind that signing in a hurry.

Vonn Bell is being released from Carolina. Wouldn't mind seeing him come back for a year.

Good teams lose players. They also know how to restock those players. We have a seemingly damn good Defensive Coordinator. We just have to hope that they know how to plug new pieces into the Defense. I do think that Defensive Line will move to the top of the pile of needs though.

Unfortunately the Bengals have a system. DJ Reader will be 30 years old before the start of the season. We know how the Bengals fell about signing guys who are 30 and over. We have literally one player on our roster over 30 and it's Karras.

Both Vonn Bell and Kendall Fuller will be 30 sometime in December, so I"m not sure if they are going to be looked at as too old by the Bengals decision makers, but I think it would be a good start.
Good points and yes, agree about giving a multi year mega deal to someone in their 30s. We may be able to bring back Bell pretty cheap (cheap compared to what he was 4 to 5 years ago)

Fuller yes, but again, but wanting him at a back breaking price either. The team is generally quite the first few days of all this anyways. We will be lucky to hear anything about signings until this weekend or maybe a week from now.

It could be worse.

We could be excited that our team just signed Kirk Cousins to a four year deal.

Jmble's 100% correct on the over 30 strategy the Bengals employ. But remember, it's that same thinking that cost us Whitworth and gave us Oogie-Boogie in his place.

Now try and sleep tonight....

Good signing. Probably a better signing than Vonn Bell honestly... And only 24 years old.

Didn't even put together that we signed him away form the Ravens.

Even better!

I have no problem with the no big long-term contracts to those over 30 for non-OL and QB but those 2 positions players over 30 can still be the best in the league.
