New | Jonah Williams is happy.
Fear of the unknown is gone.
He knows he can play right tackle now. So do his impressed coaches.
How he got here and how he is approaching a contract year with millions on the line required the same perspective

Charlie Goldsmith @CharlieG__
Jackass Cartman playing left tackle with the second team today. Looks like Jonah Williams has officially won that battle

The #Bengals cleared Mitchell Wilcox to practice from the PUP.
A good sign as he battles for the last spot(s) in the TE room.

The #Bengals waived veteran defensive end Tarell Basham.
Signed as a free agent in April, he got hurt on the first day of training camp and never got a chance to keep up at arguably the most productive single position on the team this preseason.

Five observations from the last day of #Bengals training camp:

1. Tee Higgins put on a show. He had four touchdown catches in 7-on-7 or full team red zone periods.

2. I think Chidobe Awuzie took part in all of the 11-on-11 reps. He certainly looks like he could play in week one.
“He’s one of the tougher humans that I know,” said Lou Anarumo. “It’s just a matter of him getting the confidence. His knee’s strong and he’s an athletic freak."

3. I have really enjoyed watching Frank Pollack and the other assistant coaches conduct their position drills throughout camp. Zac Taylor has put together an exceptional staff.
“I’ve been on a lot of great staffs,” said Taylor. “I think this is a really special group.”

4. After watching Mitch Wilcox practice this week, Zac Taylor says he’ll play on Saturday.
“You really enjoy seeing the success that he’s had,” said Zac. “He knows where he was in my eyes on Day 1 three years ago. To see where he’s worked up to, you’re proud of a guy like that."

5. No stone is left unturned during training camp. Today Joseph Ossai assisted Cal Adomitis in working on long snapping a wet football.

Cut day. Going to be interesting. Lots of talent in the skill positions going to be let go. I'm always interested to see if they value a player that was cut elsewhere enough to sign him over someone we had in our own camp. Let the cherry picking begin!
