Can easily be major, and can last all season too. This isnt the worst news, but certainly isnt great.

I was thinking about this today as I drove past the Plains Ohio. If Burrow in the Bengals were smart, they’d work a deal like Messi. Where he’s going to take less cash now, but have equity later. Feels like the kind of deal Burrow would want to do, but seems far-fetched for the brown family. What do you think?

I watched the clip and burrow had a black sleeve already on that calf which makes me believe maybe he was getting over a strain or something similar from the off season as it was. I would be very surprised if this was an injury that kept him from playing in the opener, probably cuts off his reps in preseason for sure but not season opener.

Paul Dehner Jr. @pauldehnerjr
Ja'Marr Chase in the locker room said he went over to talk to Joe Burrow when he went down on the field.

"We always give each other that nod ... He gave me a nod he's all right. He's a strong dude."

Ja'Marr Chase added he had not gone in to see Burrow in the training room yet, but as for if he felt better getting the nod, "I wasn't really worried. I believe he's all right

Zac Taylor says it was a calf injury Burrow sustained. Doesn’t know anything more since it just happened.

Says some guys had soreness after first day and would do things like wear a compression sleeve like Burrow was. Not out of the ordinary.

Charlie Goldsmith @CharlieG__
Zac Taylor saying Joe Burrow’s injury was his calf and using the word soreness is about as good as news gets after the QB gets carted off the field.

Cincinnati Bengals @Bengals
Everyone, please stop calling and offering us your calf muscles... it doesn't work like that!

Joey will be back
