Looks like we are running it back with Mixon and Trayveon Williams, plus a rookie. Jamaal Williams to the Saints. And we aren't signing Zeke.

I see a lot of what I feel is over reaction from fans for not jumping in and signing the big name on day 1. However I feel that this team has a plan and they've been working the plan.

We resigned Pratt, that's a big return. I think they had an idea they were going to lose Bell and we all knew deep down we were going to lose Bates. I know from reports we were in on the Safety from Philly we just we're his choice in the end. Hurst while he might have been a fan favorite can be replaced, if you look at his numbers they weren't that great, and if I recall they weren't even as good as Uzamah's the year prior.

They are going to resign Higgins and Burrow this year, and we're going to find vet's on cheap 1 to 2 year prove it deals, but I think this will be after they do find at least 1 safety.
I really never expected to sign any huge names. I guess that comes throughout the years of not signing top tier free agents. But I expect them to be in a position to draft BPA now and I hate to say it but that's probably not going to happen this year. Without any decent signings we are looking at having to draft for need now and we haven't done that in a few years. If we are drafting for need then that doesn't alot to me or others about this off season.

I think they will end up signing some players that were cut for cap reasons as they don't count in comp pick calculation.

I'm telling yall right now. Mikey doesn't wanna lose that comp pick! He ain't gonna sign anyone worth a fck. It's gonna be a body he signs, not a player. HUGE difference

Sounds like I’m the only one excited to have these comp picks for mid tier contributors and a guy who was going to reject every deal we offered

oh dang 👀
Tom Pelissero @TomPelissero

Sources: Four-time Pro Bowl tackle and Super Bowl champ Orlando Brown Jr. is finalizing a four-year, $64.092 million front-loaded deal with the #Bengals that includes an over $31M signing bonus — largest ever for an o-lineman.

Brown’s agent, Michael Portner, confirmed the deal.

And just like that, I’m a happy guy. Still have some holes to fill, but holy crap.

Okay, if he plays Left Tackle I'm happy too...

Mike Garafolo @MikeGarafolo
Just spoke to new #Bengals LT Orlando Brown Jr.: "I'm super thankful for the opportunity to carry on my father's legacy and be a left tackle. It was important to be able to play that position and play for a winning team and a winning quarterback. Who Dey!

I was this excited about Collins too and came up with squat in the end. I'm cautiously optimistic but usually 4 time probowlers have a hard time coming up with 5,6 and 7 simply because of injury or they may be aging by then. Not discounting his first 4 probowls in the slightest. We just need him to get #5 and 6 right now.

Now please find a freaking Safety worth a damn. I can live with Mixon and a draft pick if I have to.

Mike Petraglia @Trags
LT O.Brown, LG Volson, C Karras, RG Cappa, RT J. Williams/Collins. With Brown, Bengals obviously have a decision to make with Jonah Williams, whom they indicated they were hesitant to move to right tackle during Combine in Indy.
