WEEK 17 Game Thread - Game of the Year Bengals - Bills

Post by stripesincarolina » Mon Jan 02, 2023 4:09 pm

Its about that time folks. Pull out those jerseys, blankets, hats, rabbit feet, coozies, snack bowls, gun range targets with Ben Jen's face on them, Bengals bra and panties (Mrs B1 and Meat), and yes, socks.....anything superstitious you have tucked away. We need ALL THE MOJO, and I expect your best tonight.

LFG!!!!

Sooooo why did we just elevate browning from the PS and the betting line moves? Something up with burrow? Maybe Allen?

I seen that too. No injury report for neither Burrow or Allen. It doesn't mean he'll be activated for the game either. This is really perplexing.🤔

Charlie Goldsmith @CharlieG__
Bengals third string QB Jake Browning was also elevated from the practice squad today.

This also happened in Week 17 and 18 last season. It's a way to get Browning two game checks.

In Week 17 last year, Browning was simply a healthy scratch behind Joe Burrow and Brandon Allen.

For those wondering about elevation of third QB Jake Browning, it has NOTHING to do with Joe Burrow or Brandon Allen.

All systems go as normal for the #Bengals QB room.

Paul Dehner Jr. @pauldehnerjr ·1m

#Bengals inactives:

QB Jake Browning
RB Chris Evans
CB Jalen Davis
OL Jackson Carman
DL Sam Hubbard (calf)
DT Jay Tufele

Hubbard was hopeful, but fact he could make it worse and jeopardize playoff games was a factor in sitting.

May the score be 50-0 Bengals by the second quarter so you can rest peacefully tonight.
