Jones had become a lil bitch. Even ex pats are calling him out after he pouts, screams and yells after every play that doesn't go his way.

There could be repercussions for Mac Jones’ low block on Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Eli Apple in Saturday’s game at Gillette Stadium.

Apple has already come out and labeled the New England Patriots quarterback’s block as a “dirty play.” The NFL is reportedly reviewing the play with the possibility of disciplinary action to follow.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk wrote:

“Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the league will review for potentially discipline the hit to Apple’s lower legs on Monday, Tuesday at the latest. A suspension is currently believed to be unlikely, but it is one of the potential punishments.”

Per Pro Football Talk, the league is expected to fine Jones $11,139 for the low hit he placed on Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Eli Apple during a fumble return attempt in Saturday’s Week 16 game.

Apple was trailing the ball-carrier, linebacker Germaine Pratt, when Jones threw his body into his legs. After the game, the veteran corner called it a “dirty play” by Jones.

On Monday, during Jones’ weekly WEEI segment, he claimed he wasn’t intentionally trying to hurt Apple and was simply just competing and attempting to make a play.

The fine obviously isn’t going to go over well with everyone, especially those that believe Jones legitimately had bad intentions in the moment.

Not only that but he's got a history of low blocks. At some point the league has to step in and suspend him for several games. Before he hurts someone and ends their season/career. :x

+1

He's already got a reputation at this point and from what I've seen is very well deserved. I know Shannon Sharpe ripped him a new one on his show calling him a liar for his response, and Sharpe was right Jone's response was BS.

Why 11,139 and not 11,140? The NFL is so dumb in their fines and suspensions

I'm guessing its a percentage of a paycheck and that's just how the numbers came out.
