We should be 4-0. One challenge flag and two plays away.
Enjoy it, Ravens up next!

Re: Cats vs Fins Game Thread.
So after a crappy 0-2 start we've won the last 2 but I still have a lot of concerns about this offense. Although we've scored 27 points in the last 2 game it's seemed like we're really laboring to get those points. They have been improving but they still have a long way to go. I'd also like to point out that we got this win against their backup QB and pretty much all back up DB's.
I'm optimistic but still very reserved with this years team.

Re: Cats vs Fins Game Thread.
the biggest factor for optimism is that burrow has only been sacked twice in the last 2 games. they seem to have figured something out between protection and quick passes
mini bye coming up before a huge SNF game next week with Balt. Win that, and then we go saints, panthers, browns, steelers. all very winnable games. should be able to come out of that stretch at least 6-3 before our really tough stretch starts

I know we had issues in weeks 1&2 with Burrow having any time to do anything with the ball. It has definitely improved the last couple of weeks, even moreso last night. I like where the O-line is headed and hopefully we see incremental gains each week. That said, I still can't get over the playcalling. Zac has some moments of genius but has equally bad moments as well. When Burrow is clearly finding a groove in the passing game he runs Mixon dead into the line of scrimmage on back to back plays and kills a drive. I really want Burrow to start having more say so in the calls at the line.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 9:09 amSo after a crappy 0-2 start we've won the last 2 but I still have a lot of concerns about this offense. Bridgewater is no backup, not even close. He dinged us. But we also got a key pick. We beat a VERY good Dolphins team and don't take any credit away from the win.
