I don't have the time to hit everybody right now, but I'll give some highlights of the PFF Grades after week one's disaster of a start.
Joe Burrow started with a 53.7. Not surprising and actually higher than I expected after all of those turnovers.
Here's the good. We'll say 65 and up because that's about where PFF changes colors from Yellow to Green.
Offense
Tee Higgins - 69.5
Ja'Marr Chase - 74.5
Ted Karras - 68.0 (76.5 for Pass Blocking)
Alex Cappa - 69.3 (72.7 for Pass Blocking)
Defense
Mike Hilton - 72.6
Chidobe Awuzie - 65.7
Eli Apple - 70.6
Tre Flowers - 92.0 (Only five snaps)
Jessie Bates - 69.9
Logan Wilson - 86.7
Germaine Pratt - 73.0
Markus Bailey - 71.3 (Only two snaps)
Josh Tupou - 69.7
BJ Hill - 64.9 (I'm rounding)
DJ Reader - 88.4
Trey Hendrickson - 82.7
A couple notes
Cordell Volson graded about as badly as he looked - 54.2 overall and 44.3 for pass blocking. It was his first start and he was going against some damn good pass rushers, so I'll give him a pass if he shows up and looks better next week.
Jonah was 62.5 overall and La'el was 58.6 overall.
We need better. Clearly....

With all things considered that's not bad, not great but not bad, for a 4th round pick going up against mainly Cam Hayward.

We have to expect and demand better from Jonah. To me this is a prove it season for him or someone needs to be brought in to challenge his spot.
