It says something that our 2nd string O-line looked exactly like last years starting O-Line.... :x

Matt Edwards @MattEdwards
Jackson Carman’s guy got a shot on Allen on the play that seemed to cause the injury.
If you can’t handle the Cardinals’ B-team, probably best you aren’t trusted to protect Joe Burrow in Week 1.

Bengals DE Wyatt Hubert retires. Rookie injury last year, probably knew he was headed for PS hell. Hope he had some career options lined up.

I thought Volson looked good so I hope seeing him a lot more next week is promising.

Volson needs to do it against better players. You have to wonder why he didn't get the start at RG. Solid performance considering. Carman was disappointing, though he had moments. The OL as a whole looked unprepared. I wonder how much time that first group has together. Lots of mental issues.

Carman was a huge disappointment, and honestly I've been one of his biggest supporters on here. We heard nothing but he's in shape and it's his job to lose. Well after watching his shit show on Friday night I don't care to see him much more. There wasn't too many moments, I want to see Volson against good competition before I declare anyone starter. If they both suck I'd be on the phone with Spain by mid preseason.

I dont know that we have even that much time. Leaving Jonah on an island hasnt worked out well so far. I dont trust him solo. I think he can be more than sufficient with the right help inside. So Carmen either proves he can be that guy to tandem with Jonah this week or he's gotta go.

So disappointing that we are even having this convo. You weren't alone Meat in supporting Carmen.

Matt Minich @CoachMinich
Carman didn’t just look bad for a projected starter playing with backups… he was the worst of the 5 on the field.
