Rookies report Saturday. First full squad practice a week from tomorrow I believe. Might as well start a new thread.

I seriously might buy a white helmet for the shelf. Those things are badass. Night games only though.

The orange B at the crown of the helmet should be white too...stripesincarolina wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 3:50 pmI seriously might buy a white helmet for the shelf. Those things are badass. Night games only though.

I know these things happen every year, but I really hate to see Kappa start the season this way. These guys need all the camp time they can get with the new playbook.
Did Kappa have a known injury when we signed him?
The Bengals today made the following player moves:
*Placed the following five players on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list -- LB Joe Bachie, G Alex Cappa, DE Khalid Kareem, HB Samaje Perine and S Brandon Wilson.
*Placed OT La'el Collins on the Active/Non-Football Injury list.

Cappa suffered a core muscle injury during OTAs. Guys like Bachie and Wilson are still making their way back from season-ending injuries they suffered in 2021.stripesincarolina wrote: ↑Sat Jul 23, 2022 4:50 pmI know these things happen every year, but I really hate to see Kappa start the season this way. It's like he read Stripes post.....

Today the Bengals placed five players on Active/PUP and one on Active/NFI. They can be activated at any point in camp: LB Joe Bachie, G Alex Cappa, DE Khalid Kareem, HB Samaje Perine and S Brandon Wilson went to PUP. OT La’el Collins went on NFI.
For those freaking out: NFI and PUP are standard injury lists this time of year. Just means they are not cleared to participate at this moment. Does not indicate anything serious, necessarily.
Collins is the only name that isn’t a rollover from OTA issue or rehab from an ACL.
