Possible they looked at him and didn't like what they saw? Also possible he will be signed tomorrow. They did claim a Tight End though, so he's going on the roster, at least for now.

We just cut Brandon Allen?? Is Mikey and Zac getting a little too creative with the roster moves? Do they not understand that Carolina is in desperate need of a backup QB? This could get interesting.

Expectation is for Brandon Allen to sign back tomorrow as the roster gymnastics with the IR list continue.

The #Bengals have re-signed QB Brandon Allen, safety Mike Thomas and RB Trayveon Williams.
And they placed safety Tycen Anderson and OT Isaiah Prince on IR, which means they'll miss a minimum of 4 games.

Tycen Anderson a surprise to the IR list. Prince always seemed a likely option. Everybody that was let go to clear space is back. To be specific, Tycen Anderson has a hamstring injury and Isaiah Prince an elbow.

There are now four #Bengals players on IR all with an expectation to return at some point (Khalid Kareem, Cam Taylor-Britt).

You are now allowed eight returns over the course of a season.

CB Allan George was signed back to the practice squad today. Nice to have him in the depth chart. He played well.

The Thad Moss experiment is over for the time being.
