Give 'em a 6th and get it done Mikey......!

Ace Boogie (@NewStripeCity)
Per @TonyPauline, the Cowboys are willing to trade La’el for a late round draft pick and would accept anything in return..

If this is true and we havent pulled the trigger yet I would say they must not want him. Do we know where the conversation with Reiff stands? I cannot imagine he would leave, money being relatively equal, knowing he has a solid chance for a ring in Cincy. Especially with the line upgrades. He'll get to play with some solid talent.

Not so fast on Collins.......rumors still swirling.

Andrew Callahan

The #Patriots have weighed acquiring Dallas OL La'El Collins via trade, according to sources. Price had been a sticking point, but they've now effectively doubled their cap space by trading away Shaq Mason.

Rumor is that Pats get a 5th round pick for Mason, turn around and give a 6th rounder to Dallas for Collins and reduce cap and net a better player. Sounds like a BB kind of move.

Then why aren't we throwing a 4th or a 5th at this deal. Do they not want his cap hit? Is 10 million a year for a good OT really too much for this team?

Idk my buddy is a huge Dallas fan and said Collins was a massive turd last year and is on the down slide. There’s still some solid options at RT on the market

Laremy Tunsil staying with Houston. It was a long, long shot but our premier options are quickly being removed from circulation.

Saw an article on Yahoo that basically said we should nab Tretter and Collins, remake the whole Oline in three days and use the draft for defense. I'm still scratching my head on Collins unless they are rolling the dice on Dallas just cutting him.

I don't see us going after Tretter, which may be a mistake. I see then going after a TE like Howard who is inly 27 and probably able to get him at 4 to 6 million a year. I don't think many would argue with that price. Finding a starting RT is going to be a priority, and maybe Darryl Williams is the right answer there. Gotta get quality on the cheap.

I was reading that we should have roughly $35-ish million in cap space left after cutting Waynes and assuming Hopkins gets axed as well. That is PLENTY of cash to go grab a couple more top tier FA's. C'mon Mikey....LFG!!!!!
