That is terrible. Would be better to just have one of these on the field.

Vikings not picking up the 5th year option on Garrett Bradbury (C). Its money related at approx $13mm. Where are we with cap space now? Are we at the point where we just have to go to draft picks to save cap space, or could we afford someone like Bradbury at center?

You have to expect there will be a few players hit the market this week that weren't expscted. So can we afford any of them?

I don't think he'll be a free agent until next season. The team has to decide after the third season of the rookie contract if they want to exercise the fifth year option. On a side note the Bengals are currently mulling whether or not to pick up the fifth year option on Jonah Williams.

I totally missed that or the PFT article didnt state it. Maybe it was implied given the timing of his contract.

Either way, part of my point / question was do we have any money left to spend should a few more names be released after the draft? We still have a couple holes to fill and we may or may not be able to handle that with picks.
