I don't think the organization ever wanted him. Atleast the Cowboys would have taken a 5th or 6th rounder for him before releasing him right?

a 6th rounder would be 100% worth this guy! However if Paulk doesn't want this guy he know's him better then anyone! I'd take his word on it.

Right. Just can't see the Cowboys releasing him for nothing.

Florios bitching cause we ain't in cap hell every season like his steelers are. We give most of the money upfront. They and other teams give most of the money on the back end of a contract. Which is why the Commanders, Steelers, Cowboys, Raiders and other dipshit teams are in cap hell every off season.

I never understood why he didn't get more playing time on defense, but I wasn't sorry to see him go as a punt returner when he was replaced late in the year.

Tretter just finished a 5-year run in Cleveland and other than missing a game last year due to COVID, he played 100% of the snaps as a Brown. Never missed.
