There's a video clip going around showing Olave's 40 at the combine and it shows 4.26. That's being posted by Ohio State Buckeye on 247Sports.skycruiser wrote: ↑Fri Mar 04, 2022 5:21 amSaw combine 40 times starting to come in so figured it’s time to get the draft it’s own thread

Re: 2022 Draft Chatter
B1 knows I'm a Desmond Ridder fan and sent me this info.
Ridder ran a 4.49 40 beating the times of Marcus Mariota (4.52), Russell Wilson (4.55) and Patrick Mahomes (4.80)
Not bad.
Unrelated to his 40 time, I really hope somebody (other than Pittsburgh) takes a chance on this kid. He's got a lot going for him and I really believe that at worst he's going to have a long career as a fill in / quality back up kind of guy who could eventually transition into coaching. (I'd take him over Brandon Allen in a heartbeat, but he'll go way too early for the Bengals to use a pick on a backup QB)
I'm really pulling for him to get a starting job somewhere though.

Re: 2022 Draft Chatter
So I'm interested n this Zion Johnson kid. Boston College. 6'3 315 plays interior oline and has played center when needed, but not his original strength.
Played over 700 snaps at LG in 2019, over 700 snapsat LT in 2020 and over 700 snaps at LG again last year. Gave up like a 2 sacks and 14 hurries at LT and 1 sack and 7 hurries at LG last year.
I talk about him cause he's always around that 28 to 33 range in the draft. And obviously the Bengals know that too.
So my question is if we sign Jenson C (which I don't believe we will) and another OG or OT in FA and draft this kid would yall come out happy about our oline?

Ace just sent this to me
Minnesota offensive tackle Daniel Faalele tips NFL combine scales at 6-foot-8, 384 pounds
That is one big dude!
I've never heard of the guy so I looked him up.
PFF has him ranked number 83 overall on the Big Board. 12th overall Tackle.
I don't know if he can play, but I'd love to see him hanging around at the end of the third round.

Re: 2022 Draft Chatter
I think he's ranked so low because he was primarily a RT at Minn. Most of the other guys excelled at LT. LT is still valued more than RT. This is also a super deep OT class.Jmble wrote: ↑Fri Mar 04, 2022 1:22 pmAce just sent this to me

Given his affinity for "big" guys this should excite Jmble....
