Well that sucks.... :x

Bengals Won't Receive Compensatory Pick in 2022 NFL Draft
JAMES RAPIENMAR 15, 2022

CINCINNATI — The Bengals won't have an extra pick in the 2022 NFL Draft after all.

There was plenty of speculation that Cincinnati could receive an extra fourth or fifth-round selection after losing Carl Lawson to the Jets last offseason, but that won't be the case. The Bengals are one of 16 teams that won't receive a compensatory pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

F'ing John Ross, the gift that keeps on giving.....

Paul Dehner Jr @pauldehnerjr
Bengals end up not getting a fourth-round comp pick for Carl Lawson since John Ross did not end up qualifying in the comp pick formula.

Was close, but he didn’t play enough snaps for Giants

I had not heard the name John Ross spoke of all year so looked up his stats. Changing teams didn't do him any good. Take out the one long catch he did basically nothing.

Played-10 games
Catches-11
Yards- 224
Avg- 20.4
Long -52
TD- 1

Compete bust. 5 seasons 62 catches for 957 yards.

What are you guys talking about? Lol! Williams is Jonah Williams. The scenario is trading for Collins.

Fyi, a birdie told me we have a good shot at Armstead.

Darryl Williams, maybe. Armstead is a pipe dream we aren't going to use the rest of our cap space on this guys nor is he going to take a huge pay cut to play here. He's not going to come for 10 million a year. I'm just saying.

Just heard he was seriously considering Cincy. Did say there was an offer, but the conversations were likely had.

NFL Draft
@NFLDraft
·
38m
Michigan edge rusher David Ojabo suffered Achilles tear during pro day.
Was projected top 15 to 25 pick

Ouchie!
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

Could be a later round pick for us.

Sure can. Wish we would have gotten a comp 3rd or 4th to use on something like this. Would have been nice.

That absolutely sucks, though. Even for a Michigan kid. I hate seeing fluke stuff like that happens to kids right when they are an the verge of fulfilling a dream. I hope he recovers well and has a great career wherever he ends up.

Unless it's Pittsburgh. Michigan + Pittsburgh would just be too much to overcome.

Nonsense, that's not the Bengal way. You can bet SoP is sitting in the Lumina licking his chops even now.

We'll move up 10 places to #21 giving up our second, fourth and a second next year and take him because he's a "steal."

Then he'll heal slowly, sit out till late December where we'll put him in during a crucial series in a game we have to win to make the playoffs. He'll give up a huge play to cost us the game and the season, hurt himself again and be out till mid-season next year.

SoP will lean over in the sky box and say to whoevers sitting next to him, "That boy was a steal!"
