Need to fix the offensive line. Start with signing one of these two guys. Brandon Scherff, guard or Ryan Jensen, center. Don't know if we'd be able to get both. We'll need to resign Bates.

They should try and resign Reiff. It will free up time and energy to fix the interior of the line.

I would much rather see them sign Spain than Reiff. Reiff missed games the last six years and isn't getting any younger. If Reiff will sign for back-up money and be 3rd tackle I am fine with that.

Personally I think we resign, Reiff, Ogonjobi, Uzomah, Allen, Bates, Apple, Spain and Hill. Flowers is a guy you can pick up later if you need, he's a practice squad type guy.

If they don't resign Reiff and Spain god help us, or they better find two other FA replacements.

Uzomah, and Bates are too important to this team to let go, they are emotional leaders in that locker room. I added Bates there because he runs that secondary and we all know it.

Ogonjobi, Hill and Apple have done amazing in the second half of the season, we need to keep these guys and look to add more pieces to this defense to that maybe we aren't relying on them as much as this past season.

Allen is a quality back up and shouldn't be too expensive to resign, if we let him go I'd expect a Safety in the draft, 3rd thru 5th rounds.

So, I just seen they Brandon Allen is a free agent. Right now based on how the game ended (Burrow's knee). How important is it to resign him? Or do you try and seek an upgrade in free agency?

Burrow came back in to finish the game, if his knee was that bad he wouldn't had been back in. He'll work on himself in the offseason and be ready.

Allen is a good enough backup but resigning him shouldn't be a huge priority over the other guys.

You can't replace most starters, much less Burrow, with a backup of equal caliber. I'd they were, they'd be starting elsewhere. So considering that, knowledge of a system and chemistry with the roster are probably important traits for a backup QB. Not to mention real experience leading the team as a starter. In that case, if bringing Allen back is feasible, it's probably the right move for that position.
