Pretty sure this doesn't happen as he'll be tagged I expect (although he will no doubt disapprove) let's dream for a moment though, could we not kick one of the tackles inside to accommodate? Not an expert on O line but seems a good plan to keep the best players on the field... oh and PerineMeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Fri Feb 18, 2022 10:25 amPersonally I think he's be amazing and a true message sent signing. However I think we need to get 2 G's first. Time's Burrow got hurt it was because of Guard play.

Re: The 2022 Off season starts now
In case this wasnt already posted on prior pages, here are some key offseason dates to keep in mind. We're almost there already!
March 14-16: Legal-tampering window for free agency, where the Bengals can begin contacting free agents (likely offensive linemen, all things considered).
March 16, 4 p.m. ET: Free agency opens, first day of the new league year.
April 18: Teams with returning head coaches can start offseason workout programs.
April 28-30: 2022 NFL draft in Las Vegas, where the Bengals, as of this writing, will hit the podium 31st.

If it's legal it's not tampering. Legal contacting ( you know, that thing you argue with the Police about every time they catch you outside an elementary school ) is a more appropriate term....stripesincarolina wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 2:48 pmMarch 14-16: Legal-tampering window for free agency, where the Bengals can begin contacting free agents (likely offensive linemen, all things considered).

I looked up the dates and they actually used the term " legal tampering". To put it correctly. Teams can contact free agents and their agents 48 hours prior to the start of free agency. No deals can made during that time. Not, that it sounds any better. So, sometime on March 14, agents of offensive lineman are going to be in contact with the Bengals. And shortly after we'll find out who.Bengals1 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 4:41 pmIf it's legal it's not tampering. Sorry I didnt post the source and save myself the wrath of B1's diabolical sense of humor. Yes, "legal tampering" is an NFL term. Why I dont know. Seems counterintuitive, kind of like Mrs B1 sticking it out with you all these years when marrying a can of spam would have been more interesting.Zoo wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 5:48 pmI looked up the dates and they actually used the term " legal tampering". Don't feel too bad, they could have used the term "Premature contact."stripesincarolina wrote: ↑Sat Feb 19, 2022 6:04 pmSorry I didnt post the source and save myself the wrath of B1's diabolical sense of humor. Yes, "legal tampering" is an NFL term. Why I dont know.
I could've written a book of Stripes jokes with that one....

Obviously just his opinion....
Willie Lutz (@willie_lutz)
Austin Corbett is probably the most likely fix at RG for the #Bengals.
Experience in the McVay offense
Clear and immediate upgrade
Young and affordable
Only 3 sacks allowed in 2021
This one just makes tremendous amounts of sense.
