PFF’s first Mock Draft has us taking Interior Offensive Lineman Kenyon Green from Texas A and M.
Here is what they say about him.
The dream scenario. The Bengals badly need offensive line help that can step in right away. The good news is that Green has shown he can start anywhere, as he logged reps at every position except center this season.
Definitely the top Guard in this class. Some say Ekwonu is, but he's being targeted as a OT and his expected to be taken top 10 if not top 5. Green will def be a safe ass pick and a great pick. At 31 he can plug and play right away and play for years.
They've had some luck recently with free agents, not so much on drafting O-linemen. Gotta' wonder if they don't try and fill the holes via free agency and draft defensive players early instead.
Personally I think at this point it's not about luck I think it's more about getting that guarantee product on the field vs the unknown draft commodity.
I think we'd all agree that if we got some quality O-linemen in FA we wouldn't be mad if they spent the 31st pick on a CB, DE, DT or some other talented player that might fill a different need. Emphasis on QUALITY O-linemen in that last expression.

Another thing about this draft compared to recent ones. We're going to get maybe 3 of the top 100 prospects. Whereas we used to get around 3 in the top 75. I'm not going to be overly upset if we don't draft an offensive lineman at 31. But, it has to be a player that makes a difference immediately. I've seen some mocks having Nakobe Dean falling as well as .Kaiir Elam.

If it were were me yes. I would take a proven 26, 27 year old who we know that can play the game. There are alot of defense linemen in this draft. Oline... I've not really dug deep enough yet, there are a few. Remind me of last yeats class in a way but to me it's not as deep.
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

Orlando Brown Jr would be great, but I doubt he's going to be available. KC reporters believe that he will be Franchised if they don't reach an extension in time.

Personally I think he's be amazing and a true message sent signing. However I think we need to get 2 G's first. Time's Burrow got hurt it was because of Guard play.
