Bengals - Chiefs AFC Championship Discussion

Post by stripesincarolina » Sun Jan 23, 2022 9:55 pm

What a game tonight between the Bills and Chiefs. I dont like the Chiefs at home but this game might take something out of them. And they are a known commodity that we defeated.

I like our chances, lets wait for the injury reports.

That's what they said about the Raiders and it took a last second INT on our part to beat them at home.

So let's put that nonsense to bed....

The #Bengals open as a 6 1/2 point underdog at Kansas City.

We should be. KC is the better team and has more experience in this situation.

It should be a good game as long as our line can give Burrow time. It doesn't matter that we beat them before, so did Buffalo earlier this year. This game is going to come down to who has the ball last, look to take the over in this one.

Agreed. I prefer to be the underdog anyway....

What a wild ending to the bills/KC game. Was actually thinking how wise it was for Zac to handle the clock like he did at the end of the game to try to leave 0 time on the clock for Mahomes

I don’t like this matchup at all

Agreed. I like the underdog role.

That team I watched last night is going to be extremely hardl to beat. Not sure this team is built to score that many points in a minute and a half. Burrow and company are more of a pick em apart through time. We can be explosive through a big play though.

This game comes down to defense. We have to keep mahomes and company in check, have to, or as we seen this game can get outta hand fast.

We beat them sure. But I'm also sure they remember that. There as controversys in that game on some calls that they won't forget either. We go to Arrowhead., etc..

Defense, defense and more defense wins this game for us.
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

Honestly, I truly hope we are still in the game at that point.

Here's the only good news going into this game.

The Chiefs have the fourth least amount of sacks in the NFL in 2021 with only 31.

If this line can give Burrow any kind of time (and I'm not sure they can) we might be able to keep up with the scoring.

I've seen enough of this team to know that they aren't going to give up.

There is no reason to think that they can't win. But there is plenty of reason to suspect that they won't win.

Win or lose this has been a great ride, and there is no reason to think it's not just the beginning.
