Has it really come down to this? We control our own destiny, but so does Cleveland. Where I thought KC might be resting starters, it looks like they are playing for homefield advantage. So we're going to war in Wk 16 trying to secure our spot. If we come up short, and CLE beats Pitt, then we regroup and really go to war in Wk 17 with whatever we have left in the tank.

I'm on pins and needles guys. Never have two season ending games been this important for so many teams. And defenses are going to be going after Burrow HARD!

Eagerly awaiting Covid lists and injury reports.....

Unless something drastic changes I don't see us getting past KC. Our pass defense is currently ranked 29th.

Have you ever seen any season this competitive in the AFC heading into the last 2 weeks? The playoff scenarios for each team, combined with the timing of Covid issues and recent win/loss streaks make this weekend the most compelling football weekend I've ever seen. High drama for sure. There will be some desperate second half play calling for just about every team to ensure a win. Even KC can afford the loss but wants the win for home field advantage.

This is going to be wild starting with Bama / Cincy on Friday afternoon. Break out the football snacks, get those new multi-screen tvs hooked up, throw Mrs B1 in the hot tub and start the fire in the fireplace. This is must see TV!

Oh how huge was that NYJ's loss, or the Bears loss, or the 49er's loss? I said it earlier this season that those losses would haunt us and I really think they will. I'm going to predict that if we lose to the Chiefs we will not make the playoffs. I do not see us beating Cleveland in week 17.

I think our season comes down to if we can beat the hottest team in the NFL. KC is on a win streak and honestly there's an end to all streaks I'm just hoping it's this weekend in PBS.

I'm aligned. Wk 17 would be an ugly, penalty filled game rife with injuries. It will get out of hand quickly. And I can see us losing that game. Gotta win now.

This reminds me when the chiefs came into PBS in 2003 with like a 10 game unbeaten streak to start the season and Palmer and Peter warrick put it on them.

Those close Ls served a bigger purpose tho. This team is clearly learned from every one of those games and it’s all contributed to be part of the reason why we are so hot right now. Inside that locker room I truly think everyone of them believes we can be any team in the league.

Can we score enough to beat the chiefs? We’ll see I suppose.

This team can be good/great. But it is not different. We are plagued by the same inconsistencies we have had for years under Marvin and now a young Zac Taylor. And while Zac appears to be learning on the job like many of his players, the problem is that the on the job training has been woefully inadequate in several games this year.

I honestly feel like this team "will be" great. I'm not sold on that being this year. They have certainly developed faster than any of us predicted. (Except OB who predicted 17-0)

I'll say this, if they beat KC this weekend I will predict they take out the Patriots in the opening round. The Pats appear to be our most likely first round opponent at present. Beating KC when they have something big to play for would say a lot.
