Cats vs Rats Pre Game Chatter & Predictions

Round 2 coming up...

Paul Dehner Jr. @pauldehnerjr
Bengals coach Zac Taylor says RB Joe Mixon has an ankle injury, but definitely not ruling him out against Baltimore.
"He may be limited early in the week but it's encouraging."

For LB against Baltimore looks like you will have starters as Germaine Pratt and Markus Bailey.
I suspect they will take the vast majority of reps. Sprinkle in some Clay Johnston, Austin Calitro and Keandre Jones in reserve roles.

For many Ravens pundits and fans, Huntley is better than Jackson. So I'm going to say the net effect of losing Jackson is zero. Huntley brings a more traditional offensive gameplan with him. So the question is, can we shut down the middle of the field with the LBs we have available. I'm not so sure. I think we're going to be hanging on for dear life most of this game unless the offense finally decides to show up. With a very depleted Ravens secondary, this may be the cure that Burrow and company need.

No prediction yet. But I dont foresee a big point spread.

This is important news....

Jay Morrison (@JayMorrisonATH)
#Bengals are going with black jerseys, black pants and orange socks Sunday.

They are 0-4 in black jerseys this year but 2-1 when wearing orange socks. So something’s gotta give.

I really don’t know how to call this. I find it hard to believe we’ll come in and get a W with so much on the line for both teams.

Cats 19
Rats 20

You heard it here first
