Fake football in 5 days. Almost time for a prediction thread for the season. We really need to rally about 5-10 new voices in this place to liven it up. Who has some Bunghole friends they could invite? I'd even take an open minded AFC North competitor as long as they bring the analysis and not the hype.

Man this summer went by quick!

Paul Dehner Jr. (@pauldehnerjr)
Larry Ogunjobi (hamstring) has been cleared to practice by the #Bengals. Obviously, great news for an important piece of the interior defense.

Jmble's actually more qualified to speak to this but my impression is that Ace isn't really interested in building the site. Its more of a hobby for him at this point. He keeps it going mostly for us.

Which is a helluva nice thing him to do BTW. If I haven't said it enough lately....thank you Ace!

While B is correct, we aren’t discouraging new members. Ace just isn’t spending a lot of time working the board up anymore. Having said that, if we suddenly got an influx of new people, he might get more interested. It’s just become a place for us eight to twelve people who know each other pretty well to keep together and discuss the team and occasionally other things.

I think our best bet at this point is to encourage some of the past members who've dropped off to get posting again.

Deadcat is still around but for whatever reason mostly just lurks nowadays. I know Stomp signed up but for some reason known only to him has yet to post on the new site here.

Ryno is still listed as an active member but hasn't posted in a year or more. Mr. Oblivious was an active member for a while and then just disappeared. TexasBengal, Benzoo, Harp, The Pudge, Dr. Funk, and several other old regulars don't seem to have made it over to this new site. And wasn't there a female poster for a while? She had a name like Bengals52 or something like that.

I always hoped that these older regulars might return if the club got good again. Of course, we might all die of old age before that happens....

I know it's early...blah...blah....blah...but I don't like seeing Carman third on the depth chart. :?
It’s definitely disappointing that a high draft pick isn’t looking like a day 1 starter, but if he’s not ready to be the guy then I’d rather have someone else in front of him. Don’t start him just because of where he was drafted. Nothing’s handed to you, and that’s a good thing. The contrast there is the other guy drafted later who’s listed as a second teamer. Go get it, kid.

I think Carmen will get there, but I trust Pollack to put this line together.

Good listen, sounds like Burrow is settling in and looking a lot better.

I think that could have been worded much much better!
