Obviously misquoted. He tells the full story on a PFF podcast. He thought he'd be a first rounder and Cincy coaches told him they'd take him. Of course they took Verser first. He was annoyed because he thought the team lied, figuring they wouldn't take another receiver high. At the same moment one of his old teammates called him, pretending to be with the Giants, saying they'd take him. He got excited, then his buddies told him it was a joke. He was pissed. So then his agent tried to calm him down by saying Cincy sucked. He says when Cincy actually called on round 2, he thought it was another joke.
