You guys are pessimistic. They spent a ton of money in free agency last year and every indication from within leads to them jumping right into free agency again this year.

I understand the prove it to me attitude before you believe it, but things seem to be trending in the right direction.

I would also add they made as many moves as they could during the season to bring in O-linemen but at that point they really had slim pickings.

“He better push for everything he can get, because right now the front office will give him anything he wants, but that leverage will only last so long”

you're right. they will spend. they did last year and said they will be aggressive. i have every belief they will do that

likely we'll get 1 tier 1 signing (which if lawson they'll spin as tier 1)
and 2-3 tier 2
then a whole bunch of tier 3

the Saints are releasing WR Emmanuel Sanders.

He's 34 years old but still looked good last year. 74.6 PFF Score. 726 yards and 5 touchdowns while playing much of the year with Taysom Hill as the QB. He'd be a good fit with Boyd and Higgins.
