Re: 2021 Free Agency
I said before AJ might just retire after he see the contracts he is offered. I just don't see much beyond league min with incentives. When WR lose it they can lose it fast.Jmble wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 3:33 pmIt's amazing how many they name without even getting to AJ Green.skycruiser wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 3:21 pmField Yates
@FieldYates
Wide receiver remains the position with the most options in free agency: Kenny Golladay, Will Fuller V, Antonio Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Corey Davis, Curtis Samuel, Nelson Agholor, Marvin Jones, John Brown, Emmanuel Sanders, TY Hilton, Sammy Watkins, Breshad Perriman...& more.
Re: 2021 Free Agency
I wouldn't be surprised to see him sign a 1-year contract with a contender like Green Bay or the Bills etc ...
I think AJ wants a legit shot at a Super Bowl before he retires...

Re: 2021 Free Agency
Jonah didnt exactly light it up last year at LT. But Thuney would make him better. Likewise I think Zeitler would make Sewells transition to the NFL much easier. This line works for me...at least until camp when two of them get injured. Then it all goes to shit again and here comes Billy Price.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 9:42 pmLooks good except for Sewell at RT, I want a proven Vet!

This is exactly why I don't want a rookie RT! Joe Burrow is the real deal and he deserves to have a RT that's proven and knows what he's doing not relying on a Guard to help him along the way. Sewell might be very talented but he's a rookie and I'm not down with that right now with who we've got to protect!

The #Saints have informed CB Janoris “Jackrabbit” Jenkins that they are releasing him, source said. He was due $11.2M this year, with a cap hit of $14.2M.

Re: 2021 Free Agency
Meat, I'd love the idea of getting a proven vet at Right Guard, but I just don't see this team signing two proven free agent Guards and a proven free agent Tackle. If the team were able to sign Zeitler and Thuney (which is a big if) I would bet the best we would see signing at Right Tackle would be another Bobby Hart type who has potential but hasn't lived up to it yet hoping for a change of scenery type bump in his performance. If we are going that route I'd rather take the highest rated Tackle in the draft and do the same thing with him. Just because we haven't found success lately doesn't mean it can't happen. Six of the top ten highest rated Tackles in 2020 were drafted in the first round. I think Sewell or Slater are worth the shot.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Thu Mar 11, 2021 8:34 amstripesincarolina wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 11:02 pmJonah didnt exactly light it up last year at LT.
