I am stringing several Tweets together here to make it easier to read.... 8-)

Brian McFarland @RavensSalaryCap
Key here is what is a "major haul". The Ravens, in a SB window, are better in '21 w/ Brown & he doesn't have a lot of leverage here. He can sit out OTAs & get fined, but if he doesn't show for TC, he's not a FA in '22 (ie hold out unlikely). So, trade needs to overwhelm IMO.

Brown is not Tunsil & that trade is an outlier, so forget about that. So, what's the min value the Ravens would accept, knowing that they r better w/ him & don't presently have a replacement on roster? 1 pick, even a 1st, is a lateral move, given that a pick will be used on RT

Ravens are not better in 2021 w/ a rookie RT. But, what value are teams going to offer when they also have to give Brown a top of the market LT deal? Something IMO will have to give, cause I don't see teams offering a 1st & IMO Ravens need a 1st to make any sense of this.

And, please let's forget about the talk of trading Stanley. He's coming off of an injury now & would cost them $18M in dead money this yr and in 2022, the dead money would be $26.5M, so he's not going to be traded.
There are 3 factors at play working against OBJ:
1. Lack of exp at LT
2. Strong OT draft class
3. Need for new contract

So, could they get a solid return? Sure. But these are realistic factors working against EDC right now.

And, to be clear, none of this is said to say that he won't be traded, just that arriving at value & finding a trade partner willing to offer that value isn't going to be easy IMO. He's worth a lot to the Ravens for 2021, so is less than a 1st Rd pick worth it for the Ravens?
