Joe Burrow has suffered a torn ACL, per @RapSheet. MRI may show more damage but it's confirmed - he's done for the season.

Re: The Draft
I like the trade idea not sure I want 2 rookie let along 3 playing on OL. I think the 3rd OL would be a waste of a pick not sure I want a 1st and 2nd round. I would hope they find a all-pro level T in FA (back up the brinks truck SoP ) and then use the 1st round pick on best G available. So starting OL would be Williams and new FA at T. 1st round pick and one of the 8 G that played this year (Su'a-Filo most likely if healthy) and Hopkins at C.HogsFan wrote: ↑Sun Nov 22, 2020 3:23 pmIs it time to start a draft thread?
My reco
1. Lose every game, earn a top 5 pick
2. Trade the top 5 for a team drafting a QB and get 2 first rounders and 2 day 2 picks
3. Round 1
- pick 1a - Pass Rusher
- pick 1b - Offensive Line
4. Round 2
- pick 2a - Corner
- pick 2b - Offensive line
5. Round 3
- pick 3a - Offensive line
- pick 3b - Pass Rusher

Bengals with 2 wins currently sitting at the #3 pick. If Lawrence-Fields go 1-2 to NYJ/Jax, Bengals shouldn't think twice about drafting Sewell. Not sure there'd be a huge trade up market for Lance or the BYU QB. Sewell is a plug & play OT & would form a great bookend with Jonah.

Re: The Draft
Trade down! Don't need Sewell. Need guards and RT. It also needs DTs, edge (at least 2), and corners. This isn't getting fixed with one OT.
Re: The Draft
I agree but it's not like they can't find offensive line help on Free Agency as well.

Re: The Draft
Trade down, bin the coaching staff for people who have experience of actually coaching winning teams and cut loose the aging 'superstars' for anything we can get. I wonder if Akili Smith would be available as HC? Taylor Mays slots in as DC and Dave Klingler as OC and QC combined? There thats solved the Bengals issues, now on to Covid-19...

Re: The Draft
this team just does not value OG for some reason, so paying someone in FA isn't going to happen. so maybe that 2nd rounder is your guard
agree the first rounder, especially if it's a top 5 pick you probably want to take BAP. we clearly need pass rushing help, perhaps the top CB, or even a world class WR
Re: The Draft
If they take a WR in top 5 that maybe the final straw and I will try to quit being a Bengals fan.skycruiser wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 8:15 amthis team just does not value OG for some reason, so paying someone in FA isn't going to happen. so maybe that 2nd rounder is your guard

Explain why you wouldn't want Sewell. I'm not that deep into draft stuff yet but from what I gather he's the best of the best, by like-FARRRRR!
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.
