He's not the only "can't miss" prospect in the draft. Not even the only one at his position.
Don't over think this fella'....

I think the team said that when they drafted Ogbuehi and Fisher back to back.

No, they knew Oogie-Boogie had been injured and would most likely sit out a good portion of the season. But SoP wanted another "deal" and getting him that far back in the draft was more than he could resist. I have no idea what they were thinking with Fisher. He was abused by Ohio States Defensive front during the entire Nat'l Championship game.

And why would you be so eager to give the front office and scouting dept that chose them more picks to screw up while eshewing one of the few consensus can't miss prospects at our greatest area of need...? You want to see another 2-3 "Junior" Samples on the roster?

Don't over think this...

If they take a WR that didn't play this year at #3 I might just give up on them for good.

If the Jags get the #1 overall pick next year and the Jets fall to #2 and take Penile I (reluctantly) must agree with Mag and hope we trade back. :|

The idea of having someone named "Leatherwood" on the team is full of humerus possibilities however. ;)

Apparently we are expected to have close to 100 million in cap space once we part ways with Green and Atkins. Hopefully they do what they did this past offseason and get some decent FAs. Then we can trade down and have the flexibility to pick the BPA at any position.
