Fox Sports is about to learn a tough lesson. For as much as I cant stand to listen to Tony Romo, Tom Brady will be unwatchable. My wife sitting here even beat me to the punch with an "oh hell no".

I agree and glad to see somebody else that can't stand Romo. To me almost all the best announcers were lower (no name) level players. They a had to start out doing HS or college games or even local talk shows to perfect their craft and then if they were good announcers they were able to move up the broadcasting latter.

Nearly across the board these players that go straight to the booth from the field are terrible.

Roster management notes for next season, via NFLN:

- Players placed on IR now miss a minimum of 4 games (not 3).
- Up to 8 players can be designated to return from IR.
- Players can come back from IR twice in one year.
- Teams can have up to 16 players on the practice squad.
