Re: Rounds 2 & 3 Thread
Jones at 33 then Logan Wilson in rd 3 for me. Shenault would be good in the 3rd if the lb are gone

I feel there will be some suitors for us to trade down with guys like McKinney still available.

Re: Rounds 2 & 3 Thread
Ive talked myself into replacing Dunlap with a clone....well that's who he's compared too.
1. YETUR GROSS-MATOS - Edge - Penn
6'5 265 good numbers and the pundits think he's only going to get a lot better. 94 tackles, 34.5 tackles for loss and 17 sacks across his last two seasons at Penn State.
2. A.J. EPENESA - Edge - Iowa
6'5 275 His last two seasons at Iowa, racking up 30.5 tackles for loss, 22 sacks, eight forced fumbles and seven pass deflections
I mean, can you have to many edge rushers?
Although I would still love to see Pittman though. Think he can be a great WR

Re: Rounds 2 & 3 Thread
BPA - McKinney
Need - Jones
WRs - Higgens, Mims or Pittman Jr.
or
Trade back.
I really don't think we can go wrong unless we draft a TE or Kicker.

Re: Rounds 2 & 3 Thread
Just not sure what we'd do with McKinney now we have Bell and Bates set for years to come.
I wouldn't hate the Jones (OL) pick. I'm all for drafting an Oline every year.

Re: Rounds 2 & 3 Thread
I talked myself into getting a year of Pro Football Focus Edge for 30 percent off. $27.99 for a year. (I don't get anything for this one so subscribe or not, I don't care. )
But, here are the players listed by PFF either at or better than 33 on their Big Board.
12. Kristian Fulton CB - LSU
14. Josh Jones T - Houston
18. Laviska Shenault Jr WR - Colorado
19. Xavier McKinney S - Alabama
20. AJ Epenesa Edge - Iowa
22. Michael Pittman Jr. WR - USC
23. Jordan Elliott - DL - Missouri
24. Jaylon Johnson CB - Utah
25. Tee HIggins WR - Clemson
26. Curtis Weaver Edge - Boise State
28. Julian Okuara Edge - Notre Dame
31. Trevon Diggs CB - Alabaman
33. Ashtyn Davis S - California
Honestly, a lot of good choices here if they truly plan on going Best Player Available. Jones obviously makes the most sense. Wouldn't argue too much with a CB or WR. Couldn't blame them for grabbing McKinney. Either way, I see a lot of players to be happy about at 33.

Thank you for sharing that Jmble.
If we do trade out I don't wanna drop to far at bottom and still would like a quality player ya know?

Re: Rounds 2 & 3 Thread
Safety is a need for the Giants. We could trade with them and drop to 36 and receive the 99th (3rd rd comp). They take Mckinney. Then we have to hope the Colts and Lions pass. Problem is both could use help at WR and OL, so we risk losing both Mims and Jones.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 10:25 amI feel there will be some suitors for us to trade down with guys like McKinney still available.
We could also trade with the Pats for 37 and pick 100. I see them eyeing one of the safeties or DE Epinesa.

Yes, agree. I just hope they don't pull someone out their ass, like someone know one's ever heard of or...well we could have got them in 4th or 5th round type guy.Mag wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 11:30 amSafety is a need for the Giants.
