time for the ol what they'll do/what they should do predictions! here's i'm thinking:

Round 1- the chosen one savior of the franchise
what a great year it was to suck

Round 2-
what i want:
1. one of the top LB's to fall (murray, queen, baun)
2. best OL available (really like an interior OL here like Ruiz
3. WR (higgins, shenault, mims, jefferson, raegor in that order. those guys are first rounders any other year)

what they'll probably do:
a trade back 4-5 spots, pick up an extra 4-5 and still get one of the top players
LB's will likely be gone, WR depth is high and you can get a quality one in the 3rd or 4th, so my vote is the pick will be an OL

Round 3
we will actually be on the clock, so will be interesting to see if they pull the trigger or trade back

It will likely be the LB, OL, WR we dont select in round 2

Rounds 4-7
what i want:
LB- look at our roster and you know we will have to add at least 2, maybe 3 LB's (malik harrison, gay, Davis-Gaither)
WR- gotta take advantage of the depth and get 1-2 WR's in the first 4-5 rounds
OL- need a bit of depth here
Special Teamer- a safety or CB that could be our next ST ace

Don't disagree much here Sky. I say if Baun is there at 33 you take him, period. Otherwise, trade back a few spots and take BPA at WR, Oline. We're going to need another LB whether by trade or pick. And I don't mean a backup. If Pratt has a regression year we're screwed.

At this point I'd say LB is a greater need than O-linemen.

So if any decent LB falls to 33 you grab him and don't try to get cute with trades or luxury picks etc...

Then draft O-line and WR after that. Adding another LB down the line would be nice too...

Not a fan of Baun. Think he's been using some supplements that aren't allowed and when he gets off of them hes going down hill from there.

Like I mentioned in another post. The 1st half of the regular season game vs Ohio State he was a beast. Seemed like they were calling his name on every other play.

The Buckeyes made adjustments at half time and I don't recall hearing his name mentioned in the 2nd half. He just disappeared.

Don't recall him making too much of an impact in the BIG10 Championship game either.

So if college coaches can game plan around him the Steelers and Ravens etc... can too.
