They sucked me in too back in 1987 the first game I ever watched was bengals browns and I always loved tigers so that was it... my brother is still a browns fan and big into browns backers Uk.

Interesting take from Dehner's mailbag today on the fact that they aren't changing the helmets.

The club opted to let you know they are coming now, but they will be unveiled in the spring. The only thing we know at this point is the helmet is not changing. Teams are only allowed one helmet for safety rules and this one has become iconic with the Bengals brand.

I found it quite remarkable during the two trips over to the U.K. how many fans told me they picked the Bengals as their team because of the helmets. That’s something you hear a lot from fans who follow the Bengals but weren’t born into it locally. They don’t want to lose that and can’t change them up for single games due to NFL rules, which always comes up when seeking white and black helmets for the color rush uniforms.
