Patriots released WR Antonio Brown.

The Pats confirmed the move with the following statement: "The New England Patriots are releasing Antonio Brown. We appreciate the hard work of many people over the past 11 days, but we feel that it is best to move in a different direction at this time." The move comes amidst increasingly disturbing reports regarding Brown's involvement in various sexual assault accusations. The Patriots will move forward with Josh Gordon, Julian Edelman and Phillip Dorsett in 3-WR sets. There is a strong chance 31-year-old Brown never plays another down of NFL football.
