I've been hoping against hope this exact scenario wouldn't develop but I'm becoming increasingly worried that it will.

I don't think it's about the players. It's about the organization. And I can't blame him for having reservations.

I just feel he shouldn't be so public about it. As far as I know there's nothing stopping him from picking up a phone and discussing his concerns with Zack.

You're assuming that hasn't happened already. I have no doubt in my mind they've had many discussions with this kid as long as they aren't breaking any NFL rules of course.

If they had spoken the Bengals most likely would have said something publicly. Just to crow and reassure the fans if nothing else...

Well from what I've seen so far the only ppl making a big deal out of this is the media. It's good for ratings, but if you saw the clip on Mel Kiper he stated that these ppl that are saying this right now are just wrong and that to say the Bengals are a bad place to go is just insane. He actually was defending the Bengals if you can believe that. We've all seen how out of control the media is these days and this is just another example of media saying stuff to get more ratings.

I don't think this is the case here. There might be some ill will with Palmer, but his agent should be a professional and try and get 1st over all pick money period.
