Which player to you expect to make the biggest jump in 2019?
I'm gonna go with Malik Jefferson. He has all the skills to be the linebacker we need. He's problem is learning the scheme. Marvin always hid talented athletic guys like this on the bench in favor of older veterans who knew the system or had greater experience. I always wished Lewis would have put guys like this on the field and allowed them to learn on the fly. Especially when you consider our needs at linebacker. This year I'm banking on the new staff and another year in the NFL helping him to finally shine and earn his keep.
Honorable mentions:
1. John Ross - new staff will find a way to utilize his talents
2. Billy Price - he just needed to get healthy

Both good picks. I will add Hubbard. I hope he get MJ snaps and leads the team in sacks.

I dunno, but I can tell you this with 100% certainty. It better be John Ross. We did nothing to improve our position at WR and given AJG's ability to last an entire season on a bad toe, Ross will need to come up huge this year.
Assuming we are done with the Marvin school of prevent defense for half the game and allow our backers to play more aggressively, I agree that Jefferson could be a rising star. And on offense, while we know he's a solid player, I think the scheme will enable Gio to have a breakout year with a huge total yards number, most of it receiving yards.

I have heard a couple experts claim that Jefferson would be the #3 LB this year. His athleticism is upper tier compared to this group. This could happen, and we need it to happen.
I would say Price. He is a top talent and struggled primarily due to injuries.
My honorable mention is Malone. He has elite talent, but was extremely raw. He is entering year 3, which is when many WRs make their jump (see Tyler Boyd).

I see you dropped your gauntlet on the floor. You may indeed be correct.

Eifert.
just based on the probability of him getting hurt YET AGAIN.... hoping it doesnt happen....
when healthy he is dalton's favorite target.

I expect Kyle Rudolph, when the Vikes cut him for cap space, to jump alllllll the way from Minnesota, back home to Cincinnati, where he will line up with fellow former Domer Tyler Eifert, with hopefully some of his durability wearing off on him.
I mean, it would be fun, anyway.

Four tightends? Not sure how that works. But would be fun.
