Eiffert
According to PFT, Tyler is running around and appears to be ready for action. So, the million dollar question. Do we ride that pony again on the cheap or look elsewhere? We simply cannot afford to tie up a draft pick at TE this year. I think we may be stuck with him for better or worse. Unless he doesn't show well in camp, he's likely better than anyone we could draft.

I would bring him back. League min with some big incentives. When he is on the field the O is so much better. No surprise they struggled when he and Kroft got hurt last year.
Re: Eiffert
Agreed. I'd sign him to the same deal as last year. That said, I'd try to re-sign both Kroft and Uzomah as well... and look at a mid level draft pick.
You'd think we could retain at least 2 of the 3 from last year.

I tried him for 3 years cheap or 1 year for a little more. Load the deal with incentives. Everyone knows he has talent. He just needs to stay on the field.

i say if we can keep him with an incentive-laden contract... then hellz yes...
at this point in his career... i dont see any way he could not understand the incentive heavy contract situation...
