Keeping the updates coming,

The Lions have informed WR Kenny Golladay that they will not use the tag on him.

The Chargers have informed TE Hunter Henry that they will not use the tag on him.

From Macon Gunter - Co-host of the Green Light Pod with Chris Long
Three-time Pro Bowl OL Kyle Long is returning to the NFL. He is 315 lbs., healthy, happy, nasty, and shredded, and has signed with Jeff Nalley of Select Sports Group.
Had some big time injury issues before deciding to "retire" in January, 2020. I guess after a year off he's feeling healthy.

The Bengals are unlikely to use their franchise tag by the 4 p.m. ET deadline. Things can change but it's unlikely, per multiple sources. #Bengals

i hate this team

Why do you want them to use the Franchise tag? I'd rather try to work a deal with Lawson and let the chips fall where they may with Jackson.

tag lawson and then work a deal. now you're risking both of them leaving (but it seems to be foregone conclusion that Jackson is gone)

we literally have 0 pass rush without Lawson

PFF has Lawson projected at about 4 years, 13.75 mil per year.

According to Sporting news, The Franchise tag on a Defensive End this year will be $17,752,000. That's quite the overpay to keep him for a year and possibly piss him off.

By all accounts, the Bengals want to keep Lawson and they have always been good about paying the guys they want to keep here. It's a risk, but I think it's probably the right move.

You’re kidding yourself if you think he’s signing here
