Could probably get Norwell and Zeitler for the price of one Thuney. I'll take that.
That's no doubt true but then it begs the question do you just want to have a little better O-line than last year or a really great one...?

Picture a line with Thuney at Guard and Penile Swallow at Tackle.
Actually, in my scenario, you still sign or trade for a upgrade at RT. If we can upgrade both G spots for the same price as Thuney and still trade for Havenstein or sign Daryl Williams at RT, You likely have a more significant upgrade because it improves the OL now and mitigates any potential growing pains that Sewell may have as a rookie.

I am actually excited to see the amount of OGs that are about to flood the market. Right now the cream of the crop is Thuney and Scherff. We may also see Zeitler, Norwell, Gabe Jackson, just to name a few. All are above average to pro bowl caliber Gs.

Furthermore, there are going to be a lot of good vets that will sign for modest one year deals. We can get them for that and them let them go and get all the comp picks.

I did an offseason simulator and I was able to upgrade the OL with the following:

Havenstein RT (4th rd pick) $5.1 mil cap hit
Feiler RG $7 mil
Norwell LG $8 mil

Still had enough to retain both Jackson and Lawson at deals averaging $16 mil each and still had cap to spare to fill depth on DL, WR, LB, and have enough to put towards next year to re-sign Bates and Hubbard.

He's already made it clear he's NOT coming back to Cincinnati....

The #Seahawks have informed pass-rusher Carlos Dunlap that they are releasing him, source said, saving $14M in cap space.

I thank him for what he gave us in his prime, but I have to say that the feeling is mutual.

The #Bears are not likely to exercise the option on OT Bobby Massie’s contract, another casualty of the cap crunch, source said. He’ll be a FA, saving them more than $5M vs. the cap & putting a starting caliber tackle on the market in a year when OTs are more valuable than ever.

The #Cowboys and franchise QB Dak Prescott have agreed to a deal.

Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet)
Full terms on the Dak Prescott contract: 4 years, $160M, up to $164M. He gets a no-trade clause and no tag provision. The guarantee is $126M. Massive.

Saw that Tennessee traded last year’s 1st round offensive tackle to Miami for a switch of 7th round picks. That’s basically a bag of chips.

Sources: The #Dolphins traded for #Titans 1st round OT Isaiah Wilson, with a swap of picks completing the deal. A fresh start for Wilson.
