I dont think this does justice to how many times Hart was blown off the LOS and interfered with Joe in terms of timing or vision. Maybe not defined as a pressure, but affected him nonetheless.

If you look at the first half yes, the Offensive like was absolutely horrible. They made some adjustments and they did play much better in the second half. Also the last drive they when the DE's are able to tee off they were able to give Burrow the time to drive the field. One game is not the entire season, if these are his pressure numbers after week 4 then it's a super need and you sign anyone you can that helps.

You have more patience than I do. I'd give him to after game 3.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 5:43 pmOne game is not the entire season, if these are his pressure numbers after week 4 then it's a super need and you sign anyone you can that helps.

Time to man up Meat!

Fyi, the team already passed on Ross's 5th year option. Best bet is to keep him and hope he has a good enough year to get us a decent comp pick.
And yes, we are a right tackle away, personnel-wise, from being good. But we also need time. The OL from C to LT looks solid. Just need to shore up the right side. The combo between SuaFilo and Price has potential. Hart is the week link. He has had 3 years to show us something. Still has poor technique, still makes mistakes at inopportune times.
The D looked good and didn't have Atkins or Waynes. Bates looks like he's taking that next big step in his progression. Jackson seems to be back to top form, the LBs played fast for once.
All the pieces are there accept RT. Just need time.

Good perspective there, Meat. I do seem to recall in that last drive that Bosa (and Ingram?) wasn't on the field through a big stretch there, which can help any line look better.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 5:43 pmIf you look at the first half yes, the Offensive like was absolutely horrible. But also... are you suggesting that the Bengals made halftime adjustments? This really might be a new coaching staff.

Hart is being treated like Oogie-Boogie and Bodine, just being left out there despite the fact that each game just shows his inability to handle the position.
Part of being a good head coach is the ability to admit when plans and players just don't work out. You have to be willing to bite the bullet and move on despite the cap hit and personal embarrassment of having to publically admit a player you had faith in just didn't work out.
Let's see if Zac is willing to do that...

You act like you can just go out and find a starting RT on the street... These are the guys we have right now and unless we're willing to give up something significant we aren't getting another RT any time soon.Bengals1 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 10:31 amHart is being treated like Oogie-Boogie and Bodine, just being left out there despite the fact that each game just shows his inability to handle the position.
