It dawned on me yesterday that there are so many new bengals fans the last 5 years they just don’t understand this is how life is in stripes.
We sucked so historically bad we were gifted a generational talent in Carson Palmer. We ruined his career. History will inevitably repeat itself with Burrow.
Sadly yes. I just have a feeling due to years of being a fan that one morning I'm going to get up and read that Burrow has requested a trade, and or retire.
I honestly, without seeing this team be aggressive and building around him more cannot see this ending well with him.
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

There’s no scenario where this ends with a championship and an amicable separation

Only way is to build build build. We have to do better drafting. We have to be aggressive. We have to be open to trades. I mean if we can get a pass rusher for a 6th round and he ends up having 6 or 7 sacks and maybe one of them sacks wins us a game to either get to playoffs or hell maybe win is a playoff game then isn't it worth it.
Duke Tobin cannot honestly sit there and say, I don't see any improvements that we can make during the trade period. IF he honestly believes that then his ass needs to go.
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

I would rather see them sellers rather than buyers. One, two or hell even three defensive players are not going to turn this terrible defense into anything better than below after.

Burton a healthy scratch. ZT knew this kids character going into draft but drafted him anyways. This looks like a typical 3rd round draft bust, as well as many other draft busts and wastes this team has made over the last 3 or 4 years. Good grief.

yes, that one is baffling with Tee being out
-edit: per James Rapien, Burton was a no call, no show for Saturday's walkthrough according to multiple league sources.

Again. But they knew about his work ethic before the draft and still drafted him. I'm not taken up for Burton or ZT but if I know before I draft a guy that he's a slapass and you still draft him who's fault is it?

I disagree, our defense needs a pass rush and this would help it execute that.
